I would like again to thank each and everyone who looked after Dad during his time there. We all know he really did consider it home and was so happy there. Thank you also for the kindness shown to us as his family everyone we visited and the hospitality always available.

For all your kindness and friendship, I sincerely thank you but most of all we as a family are indebted to you all for the great care, attention, kindness and love that you showed to mom, during her time with you, especially when she needed that extra careful management and concern. I know that her time with you was happy and she valued you all and the care you gave her and she has not forgotten you.
Bernadette
Words are really inadequate to thank you all for the graciousness, kindness, sensitivity and understanding you showed us, My mother was very happy in St. Attractas and very settled.
Padraic
At a time when mum needed the best in professional nursing and care, you were all there to give it to her at the highest standard.

Advocacy

Resident advocacy and independent decision making is a core feature of life at St. Attractas Nursing Home.  Anne Lynch is the advocate for St. Attractas Nursing Home. She holds a BSC in Counselling & Psychotherapy and a certificate in Advocacy through Third Age. St.  Attractas Nursing Home recognise that we have a duty to protect the rights of vulnerable people within our care and Anne enables us to achieve this not only through regular meetings with our residents but as an advisor should advice be required.  Anne attends the nursing home typically on a monthly basis and meets with the residents.  In addition to residents, family members of residents with dementia are invited, welcomed and encouraged to attend the monthly advocacy meetings.
