On Monday, 21st September the residents of St. Attracta’s Residence, Hagfield, Charlestown, Co. Mayo enjoyed a Christmas drive by parade. It was led by local Gardaí and Charlestown Fire Brigade who kindly gave their time. Santa Claus made an early appearance and was very clued into which residents were on the naughty or nice list. Huge thanks to the many families who came along to participate in the drive by. Carrie Loftus provided musical entertainment and our prayers were answered when the rain stayed away. The parade was a lovely festive highlight for residents and staff alike. We look forward to the day soon when we can get the vaccine and resume normal visiting and open doors.
