On Friday, 29th September St. Attracta’s hosted its inaugural Bake Sale in aid of the Mayo Roscommon Hospice.  The master bakers behind this initiative were our two long-serving Chef Aine Roache and Cook Eileen McLoughlin.  They put huge efforts into ensuring a fantastic display of baked goods was on sale.  The items on sale were all homemade and included:  Brown Bread, Banana Bread, Madeira Cake, Victoria Sponge, Red Velvet Cake, Lemon Cake, White Cob Bread, Chocolate Chip Cookies, Chocolate Biscuit Cake, Cupcakes, Apple Tarts, Raspberry and White Chocolate Bites and Eileens Brown Scones.

Needless to say, each item was tastier than the next.  Yes, we did try them all!!

Enormous thank you especially to Aine and Eileen and to the dedicated kitchen team at St. Attracta’s who enabled this massive baking effort.  Thank you to all our neighbours, families, friends, and staff who supported this worthy fundraiser.
