St. Attracta’s celebrated Halloween one day early on Friday, 30th October 2026. The staff were invited to join in the spirit and get dressed up and a number embraced the invitation with gusto. Prizes were awarded to the top 3 costumes as voted for by the residents. The residents enjoyed face painting, tarot card readings and pumpkin carving as part of the fun. They enjoyed the barm brack the residents themselves had baked. On the day a special Halloween menu was created. In the afternoon the residents enjoyed live music with Margaret Howley which was accompanied by a festive drink.
