On Tuesday, 27th January 2025 we said farewell and Happy Retirement to one of our longer serving staff members Marie Peyton. Marie has been with St. Attractas for over 14 years and was part of the original activities team who established a formal activities program when it was a new concept in nursing homes. Marie has worked tirelessly and enthusiastically since then to ensure the residents have plenty to occupy them. Marie was an asset to the St. Attracta’s team and always a pleasure to work with. She treated the residents with enormous dignity and respect and looked after them as if they were her own family.
We will miss Marie from this house but hope she enjoys some well deserved rest from the early mornings. Thank you sincerely Marie from your St. Attracta’s family.
