On Friday, 25th March @ 3pm the residents and staff of St. Attracta’s plan to  do a walk in support of the Climb with Charlie Fundraising initiative.  The goal is to raise fund for the Motor Neuron Disease Association and Pieta House. While the distance the residents will undertake is not far the challenge for many will be.  We have registered our walk on the Climb with Charlie page https://www.climbwithcharlie.ie/find-a-climb/# and are setting up a fundraising link also which we will add here in due course.   All support appreciated.

‘Climb with Charlie’ is a nationwide fundraising initiative.

On Saturday April 2nd, Charlie Bird has set himself the challenge to climb Croagh Patrick with the support of family and friends in aid of the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association and Pieta House.

The climb will be an immense challenge for Charlie but he is determined to do it to highlight the vast mountains so many people climb in their everyday lives due to severe illnesses – physical and mental.

Charlie is encouraging anyone who wants to get involved in ‘Climb with Charlie’ to do so in their own localities.

This act of solidarity will be so appreciated by Charlie, his family and friends and will raise vital funds for his two chosen charities.
