On Friday, 25th March 2022 the residents and staff of St. Attracta’s Residence took their steps in support of the Charlie Bird fundraiser which aims to raise funds for Motor Neuron association and Pieta House.
Charlie’s goal in climbing Croagh Patrick is to highlight the vast mountains so many people have to climb in their everyday lives due to severe illness, physical and mental. Like many others some of the residents and staff face their own personal mountains daily so whilst the distance covered was short the significance was vast.
As well as setting up a fundraising page the team at St. Attractas’ are holding a staff raffle to raise funds in support of these worthy charities.
