On Friday, 2nd July 2021 the residents enjoyed the annual summer barbeque. This is normally a very festive affair with a lot of visitors joining in but unfortunately for the second year running, we were unable to invite our residents families to join us. Nonetheless, a great afternoon was had. The weather was kind which meant our Chef didn’t need a rain coat this year unlike last year! Nuala Wilson provided the music and is always a big hit as she knows all the resident’s favourites. The barbeque had all the elements of a good day including dancing, singing, eating, and drinking too much. We will hopefully have another before the summer finishes.
