It was a busy and active summer for the residents at St. Attracta’s Nursing Home.  The annual trips to Knock took place on Thursday, 29th June & Thursday, 6th July.  The weather conditions were relatively kind and the outing was enjoyed by all. On 18th July the lovely Mayo Rose, Sandra Ganley came to visit. Sandra represented Mayo in the Rose of Tralee Competition.  She spent time with all the residents and demonstrated that she is a formidable representative for the county as she charmed everyone she met. We wish her every success for the future.  Her visit was followed by some brilliant entertainment provided by the O’ Toole family who demonstrated their immense talent for music and dancing.  A number of residents went on a day out to Enniscrone on Friday, 28th July.  While the weather was shaky at times it did not detract from a brilliant day out.  The residents enjoyed a bus ride along the scenic route and then followed up with a wonderful lunch in the Ocean Sands Hotel.
